Through the links they form with local people and with overseas communities our projects bring subjects to life, giving them relevance and meaning beyond text books and beyond the exams that must be taken.

Enterprise and micro-business

Working with partners, Africa’s Gift has helped UK communities, schools, and communities in the developing world to develop a number of micro-business projects that focus on income generation and economic development. Projects range from agriculture, livestock husbandry, and selling locally-produced food, to weaving and jewellery making.
