Excite and inspire, whilst adding an international dimension to your students’ learning, by engaging in the journey of a lifetime.
We can help you to embed principles of responsible action and volunteering (through activities in both north and southern hemisphere communities) and enable real life issues of sustainability to get a hold of imaginations (staff’s and students’ alike), working in true partnership, and realising powerful mutual benefits.
We have over a decade in successful international partnership learning, and have clear grassroots understanding of many of your concerns. We will help you analyse your needs, carefully matching your group with one of our vibrant and welcoming partner communities, and working with you to forge new relationships with your African counterparts. Our bespoke and fully escorted visits, are planned with extra team capacity to the fore – allowing your whole group to concentrate unimpeded on achieving your goals – i.e. ‘making that difference’.
We insist on the highest standards of risk management and safety in the field, taking pride in the fact that our policies and procedures are endorsed by National Outdoor Education specialist Advisers who often take an active role in our scheduled pre-departure training sessions. Unusually, we also ensure that a fully qualified Doctor accompanies all remote visits, thus also providing a confidential alternative sounding board for any team members who develop concerns, and to date a highly successful strategy which has proved beneficial and enriching to all.
Visits typically include in-country orientation activities and post-placement reflection and relaxation opportunities, for example witnessing the awe and wonder of Africa and it’s iconic wildlife by participating in a safari.
